Post-Jam Update: Fixed Build, Playable Demo & QoL

Hey everyone!

The jam is over, and my original upload really didn’t do the game any favors. It required a download, the archive was packed wrong (extra hoops to install), and once you finally got in… poor performance and a progression-breaking bug. Yikes.

As an apology — and to prove to myself I can still bring something across the finish line — I’ve made a proper post-jam playable demo. It’s still more of a demo of the idea than a full game, but I like where it’s headed. If I see real interest from you, I’d love to push this toward a complete release.

What I fixed

  • Repacked the archive (should extract cleanly now).

  • Squashed the progression-breaking bug and most of the obvious issues.

  • Did a broad optimization pass — funnily enough, it even improved the visuals.

What’s new

  • Main menu.

  • Inventory.

  • Sound effects & music.

  • General polish and stability.

Status This now looks much closer to what I wanted to show by the end of the jam. I love jams because they let me try new, ambitious things and break out of routine — even if I sometimes overshoot. What’s done is done; here’s the best version so far.

Thanks for playing — hope you enjoy it!
